The photos are taken of the SW corner of Andrews and Green Bay Streets in Shawano. In both photos, in the background you can see the same house on the left and the Bilmay Hotel on the right. Today the Bilmay is the Wisconsin Inn.
In the 1940’s this corner was buzzing with activity at the Mobil Station owned by Ernest and Marcella Going. The photo isn’t in very good condition but you can see quite a bit of detail.
